Room was spotless. The blonde lady that checked us in was not the nicest but the evening worker was a blonde man with long hair and he was amazing. He was very helpful and made us feel welcome. The lady did not make us feel welcome. The breakfast was boiled eggs, pastries, yogurt, cereal, type of thing. They also had a variety of tea available! I was happy about that. Probably not good for kids
My husband and I loved our brief stay. The owner personally assisted us with our RV parking and storage of our bikes. The location in Aspen was perfect and we loved the lobby/breakfast! (I would recommend a microwave to heat the wonderful pastries!) Our room had a separate living area and the bed was very comfy! We’ll hope to return someday!!
Wonderful boutique hotel in Aspen. I really enjoyed my stay here. The hot tub is great. Also they have a simple but tasty continental breakfast in the morning. Recommend.
My husband and I loved staying here! It’s very homey. The hot tub was secluded and had nice views. Awesome staff. Great breakfast. Overall just very pleasant! Probably my favorite hotel I’ve been to because of its smaller, locally owned feeling.
Hotel is conveniently located - couple of blocks away from the bus depot and a couple of blocks from the heart of downtown Aspen. The hotel is cozy, clean, and a good value. I would be remiss not to mention how friendly and cool the two guys who work the front desk are - they are helpful, nice, and accommodating. I only stayed one night since I was in town for a show at the Belly Up, but when I come back to Aspen for a longer trip I will stay at the Durant again.
The staff at Hotel Durant were incredibly welcoming, and David went above and beyond to help us plan our trip to Aspen. We had a wonderful time exploring the area and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the hotel's breakfast hall.
Nice hotel. Room was small but nice. Great bathroom and shower, but missed something to dry the towels. Noisy pipes and water tho. We knew when our neighbors had a shower. Breakfast was ok. Wished a bit more friendliness from staff. But overall i liked my stay there. Parking in front of the hotel was ok. Hot tub was ok as well. Nicely situated in Aspen.
OK, this place is a GEM!!! Gorgeous little spot, perfect location in walking distance to everything downtown Aspen has to offer. Really lovely and clean decor. The room was clean and comfortable, bed super cozy, and that shower!!!! That is a huge plus of this property. It was also really nice and quiet, and we loved the big balcony in our room. The continental breakfast was above and beyond too, and the staff was friendly. Totally recommend, and will definitely be back!
